The Electric Operations Team is responsible for ensuring the electric grid's reliability and resiliency through the ongoing maintenance and operations of PG&E's 100,000 miles of distribution lines and over 18,000 miles of Transmission lines. Position Summary The Maintenance Planning group works on asset management processes including gathering and maintaining asset data, risk assessment, analysis, data mining for compliance reporting and program metrics. Incumbents create equipment and maintenance plans linked to specific assets in the work management system module of SAP. Incumbents meet regularly with field maintenance supervisors to create schedules and update asset records in SAP when work is completed or rescheduled. Incumbents are typically assigned to support specific areas of transmission operations such as Substation, T-Line or the Test department. Preferred HQ is Dublin but there may be flexibility to be based in other HQs in the Bay Area region of PG&E's Service Territory, please note hiring leader will make final decision of what are appropriate headquarters for the role based on business need. Position will require approximately 20% of travel time in work schedule. This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and your assigned work location based on business need. The assigned work location will be within the PG&E Service Territory (Dublin/ or maybe other HQs in the Bay Area region). PG&E is providing the hourly rate range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual hourly rate paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity. Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed towards the middle or entry point of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors. The hourly rate for this position ranges from $39.43 to $59.61 This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E's discretionary incentive compensation programs.
