Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Criminal Justice or related field preferred.
  • At least two (2) years of supervisory experience.
  • At least three (3) years of experience in customer support or account management position.
  • Valid state driver's license and the ability to safely operate a motor vehicle required for travel to customer sites.
  • Some experience with the criminal justice system preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external contacts.
  • Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
  • Proficient computer skills, including, but not limited to, Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Strong focus on quality customer service.
  • Strong ability to diagnose, analyze, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
  • Must be self-motivated with the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

Summary:

The EM Site Supervisor is responsible for management of a 24/7 electronic monitoring program. Provides close, continuous support through on-site technical support, troubleshooting, training, report analysis, and programmatic assistance and guidance. Serves as the liaison for all aspects of contract compliance and program performance. Assigns individual staff responsibilities to ensure adequate coverage of electronic monitoring and house arrest programs to meet customer requirements.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • The EM Site Supervisor provides primary oversight of program.
  • Supervises staff, including interviewing, hiring, assigning work, providing direction, mentoring and counseling. Completes performance reviews, disciplinary actions and assessments. Ensures consistent application of employee guidelines, processes, policies and procedures for all staff assigned.
  • The EM Site Supervisor provides 24/7/365 on-call availability for customer emergencies or unforeseen events related to the program.
  • Resolves program issues proactively at customer, systems and community levels.
  • The EM Site Supervisor drafts and updates client policies and procedures.
  • Oversees the equipment inventory management, reconciliation, and recovery.
  • Monitors and enforces positive redundancy in alert systems.
  • Responds to customer complaints or concerns for the specified shift. Resolves issues or escalates to appropriate departments as necessary. Communicates status and/or resolution of issues directly to customers.
  • The EM Site Supervisor provides court testimony when subpoenaed and is a subject matter expert in the BI equipment and systems utilized by the county.
  • Assists with budget preparation, funding applications and creation of program materials.
  • Oversees data collection and maintains case management systems.
  • Stays abreast of customer policies and procedures.
  • Assists with alarm processing or handling inbound or outbound calls as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
