Paid Search Specialist

This is a 12-month, full-time (40 hours/week), hybrid contract role located in Culver City, CA.

Pay: $57.15 per hour


Summary
We're seeking an experienced Paid Search Specialist to join a dynamic Digital Marketing team. This role focuses on managing and optimizing paid search (PPC) campaigns across major self-service SEM platforms. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to drive performance, uncover insights through data analysis, and contribute to the overall paid media strategy.

Our Ideal Candidate


  • 4+ years of experience in paid search marketing (agency or client-side)



  • Passion for digital marketing and data-driven campaign management



  • Proficient in Google Ads, Microsoft Ad Center, SA360, Marin, and Skai/Kenshoo



  • Strong analytical, reporting, and presentation skills, with a focus on performance optimization



  • Familiar with PPC principles, marketing attribution, and web analytics



  • Skilled in collaborating with marketing strategy, analytics, and creative teams



  • Able to work independently, manage multiple campaigns, and meet deadlines



  • Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced, evolving digital environment



  • Excellent written and verbal communication with strong attention to detail



  • Google Ads Certification a plus




Job Description
In this role, you will oversee the day-to-day management of SEM campaigns for multiple subscription-based business lines. You'll partner with channel specialists, marketing strategists, analytics, and creative teams to deliver end-to-end execution and performance management across paid search.

This includes:




  • Developing and implementing paid search campaign strategies



  • Conducting keyword builds and analyzing search query reports for new opportunities



  • Crafting ad copy and optimizing landing pages to improve conversion performance



  • Managing tagging, trafficking, and campaign tracking to ensure accurate measurement



  • Monitoring campaign structure, pacing, and budgets across multiple platforms



  • Performing in-depth analysis to identify trends and actionable insights



  • Preparing and presenting campaign performance reports to internal stakeholders




You'll play a key role in validating campaign performance through strategic testing and data storytelling to highlight the value of paid search marketing.


Education and Experience


  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)



  • 4+ years of hands-on paid search campaign experience



  • Google Ads Certification preferred




Additional Requirements
This opportunity is located in Culver City, CA, and requires hybrid on-site work.

The pay for this W-2 position is $57.15 per hour.

This position may be eligible for benefits such as PTO, health and dental insurance, and/or 401(k) upon meeting certain length of service and hours requirements.
