Here's what you'd do:

  • The Program Performance Manager will lead performance monitoring and reporting for government contracted programs.
  • This role is responsible for applying Earned Value Management (EVM) principles, managing work breakdown structures (WBS), tracking variances, and driving risk & opportunity mitigation.
  • The incumbent will ensure accurate documentation, timely reporting, and effective coordination across internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Earned Value Management:
    1. Develop and maintain EVM baselines, perform cost schedule performance analysis, and prepare variance reports for senior leadership.
  • Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) Management:
    1. Create, maintain, and update the WBS, ensuring alignment with contract deliverables and program milestones.
  • Variance & Trend Analysis:
    1. Identify cost, schedule, and technical variances; generate trend analyses and recommend corrective actions.
  • Risk & Opportunity Management:
    1. Track program risks and opportunities, update risk registers, and facilitate mitigation plans.
  • Program Administration:
    1. Initiate, assign, and track action items; ensure closure and documentation of outcomes.
    2. Maintain program logs, status reports, and comprehensive documentation repositories.
    3. Prepare and distribute regular performance dashboards, charts, and executive summaries.
  • Coordination & Communication:
    1. Schedule and facilitate coordination meetings; prepare agendas and minutes.
    2. Send meeting reminders and follow up communications to ensure accountability.
    3. Serve as the primary point of contact for internal team updates
  • Workload & Deliverable Forecasting:
    1. Project resource requirements, manage contract deliverable schedules, and adjust plans to meet contractual obligations
  • Microsoft Office Expertise:
    1. Develop advanced Excel models (pivot tables, macros, charts), PowerPoint presentations, and utilize Teams for collaboration, file sharing, and meeting coordination.

  • Hours: 4/10-1st Shift
  • Length: Temp (15 Months)

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 2 years of Earned Value Management experience establishing and managing EVM systems
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Earned Value Analysis
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience with Program Management and Risk Management
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Experience with Primavera or MS Project
  • PMP EVM or similar certification.
  • Finance/Accounting
  • Standardized Reporting
  • Contract Knowledge: Familiarity with FAR/DFARS, cost type contracts, and contract deliverable tracking.
  • Tools Proficiency: Expert level skills in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, VBA/macros), PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis capability; ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication; adept at preparing clear, concise reports and presentations
