Job Summary
The Operator I is responsible for assembling, inspecting, testing, and packaging medical device products in a cleanroom environment. This position involves operating various tools and equipment, including torque drivers and screwdrivers, and may require periodic microscope work. The role emphasizes attention to detail, adherence to FDA and GMP standards, and the ability to follow established procedures to ensure high-quality production. Job Responsibilities
Assemble medical device products according to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality standards
Perform inspections and functional testing of components and finished products
Conduct periodic microscope work for detailed assembly or inspection tasks
Package and box products as part of the production process
Operate hand tools and electrical equipment such as torque drivers and screwdrivers
Maintain cleanroom protocols, including proper gowning and personal protective equipment (PPE) use
Participate in cross-training to support multiple functions within the production area
Adhere to all safety, quality, and regulatory guidelines, including FDA and GMP requirements
Job Requirements
1 to 3 years of experience in a cleanroom environment within the medical device industry
Hands-on assembly experience in medical device manufacturing required
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
Understanding of SOPs and compliance with FDA and GMP standards
Previous experience with soldering and microscope work preferred
Ability to follow detailed instructions and perform repetitive tasks with precision

Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM (4x10-hour shifts)

Additional Job Details
This position is based in Saint Paul, MN, and operates in a cleanroom environment within the medical device division. Team members are required to wear full cleanroom attire, including gown, hair net, beard net, shoe covers, and safety glasses. The initial assignment is a 6-month contract, with the possibility of extension based on performance and business needs.
