Job Description Summary

Position Objective:

The Senior Director of Human Resources Operations is both a strategic and hands-on role leading and facilitating the planning and execution of multiple HR functions. The person in this role will directly oversee the HR Programs and HR Projects, HR Shared Services and Administration teams.In addition, this leader will be responsible for building relationships and working with the HRIT team so the entire HR function will have the metrics and information to make decisions to effectively attract, align, develop and retain our talent.The Senior Director of Human Resources Operations has experience in designing efficient HR processes and operations and a talent for analyzing complex data and telling the business story as well as solving problems through the data.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Supports HR leadership and drives data for all HR planning cycles.
  • Responsible for the input, implementation, and identification of problem areas for all HR transactions and service delivery processes and recommends solutions.
  • Ensures that all company related administrative forms, reports, processes, and audits are completed accurately, timely and in compliance with relevant local, state, federal and provincial regulations for audits and compliance.
  • Oversees the development of reports from HR systems involving employee data including but not limited to: turnover, performance, employee engagement, training, skills, EEO and Affirmative Action.
  • Partner with HR specialist functions/Centers of Excellence to ensure delivery against strategic business imperatives and deliver solutions to meet business needs.
  • Lead HR Shared Services to optimize HR support
  • Responsible for process improvement, including evaluating existing systems and procedures, providing recommendations for changes and improvements, and implementing changes
  • Consults to determine user needs, reporting requirements, and areas where procedures need streamlining in a high-growth environment
  • Demonstrated experience providing analysis from disparate systems and providing concise and meaningful stories through the data
  • Lead process improvements and systems changes.
  • Ensures compliance with Company policy, procedures and employment laws; takes appropriate action in dual role of associate advocate and management coach. Manages the administration of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations and corporate policies.
  • Accountable for creating, fostering, managing, and maintaining an environment of positive employee relations, which drives employee engagement and inclusion.

Requirements:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent work experience, plus 8-10+ years Human Resources experience, including at least 5 years leading a team
  • Strong project management, analytical, time management and prioritization skills
  • Proven track record of creating and analyzing data for an HR dashboard
  • Attention to detail; excellent written and verbal communication, organizational and presentation skills
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership and relationship building skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work with all levels of staff and management
  • Strong Workday, Excel and PowerPoint skills required
  • Successful track record in leading, developing, motivating and retaining a team
  • Must have the ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues by using sound judgment that is consistent with business standards, practices, policies, procedures and regulations

Physical Demands:

Must be able to bend, squat, crouch and/or reach and lift up to 25 pounds or more, as required by the job. Some Sunbelt jobs may require driving for long periods of time, loading and unloading heavy equipment, performing work in extreme weather conditions including rain, wind or excessive temperatures and/or night and weekend work. All duties must be performed according to Sunbelt's safety policies and guidelines. Reasonable accommodations may be made to comply with ADA/ADAAA.

Base Pay Range: $188,640.00 - 259,380.00
