Duke Research Facilities is seeking a Maintenance Foreman, Electrical to supervise and actively participate in critical corrective and preventative maintenance operations. In this hands-on leadership role, you'll ensure the reliability and safety of our cutting-edge research environments and associated facilities buildings, systems, and related equipment, while collaborating closely with fellow supervisors and management to drive operational success. Work Arrangement - On-site Anticipated Pay Range - Duke University provides an annual base salary range for this position as USD $28.88 to USD $45.83. Experience - Six (6) to eight (8) years of experience required as an electrician or maintenance electrician experience is preferred. Supervisory skills and experience are required. Certificate, License, Registrations Valid N.C. driver's license and a driving history acceptable under the guidelines of the Safe Driving Policy required. Electrical or plumbing license, journeymen level or similar electrical or plumbing training is required. Electrical Technology certificate/degree or acceptable training is required for this position.  Hours - The Supervisor position is primarily first shift Monday-Friday but will be expected to work after-hours and weekends as necessary. Answering phone calls and providing support after-hours, weekends and holidays is required.
