Invoice Control Clerk (501-CMD)

Scope of Work:

Maintain all data entry with major emphasis on invoicing of customer orders and branch transfers and/or accurate accounts payable vouchering of inventory receipts as specified. Maintain accurate file system.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Invoicing customer orders and branch transfers and/or vouchering inventory parts receipts for accurate payment of vendor invoices
• Utilize 3 way matching to ensure data accuracy
• Other data entry as specified
• Create and maintain accurate customer and branch transfer files
• Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must have a minimum of 2 years previous experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Requirements: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

• Must be proficient with using MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Access, Outlook and other Microsoft programs
• Knowledge of basic accounting practices preferred
• Knowledge of inventory control/management preferred
• Must have strong organizational skills
• Must have clear understanding of 3-way matching for data accuracy
• Must have ability to type a minimum of 25 words per minute
• Must be dependable and have ability to work independently
• Must maintain good client relations
• Must have knowledge of operating phone systems and other office equipment

Working Conditions and Physical Demands:

• Typical hours of work Monday through Friday; 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Overtime and weekend hours as necessary
