Job Purpose

The Senior Analyst is responsible for providing comprehensive business and administrative support for the Project Engagement team in New York at National Grid. This role plays a critical part in enhancing team efficiency through effective management of resources, data analysis, and reporting.

Key Accountabilities
  • Assist in managing vendors and consultants, including processing invoices, triaging inquiries, and reporting on performance metrics to ensure effective collaboration.
  • Plan, schedule, and facilitate recurring internal meetings
  • Administer and update SharePoint sites, ensuring that all content is current and accessible, while also managing spreadsheets and relationship management tools to track the team's workload and KPIs.
  • Create and present Power BI reports that provide insights into project performance and metrics, aiding in data-driven decision-making.
  • Develop and design presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint and design software such as Canva
    Review internal and external documents for proper grammar, spelling, context, and tone, ensuring high-quality communications.
  • Enter data, collect information from other departments, and generate internal reports to support project objectives.
  • Manage special projects as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
  • Provide event planning support for internal events, ensuring successful execution and engagement.
  • Support occasional project-related public meetings, assisting in logistics and presentation delivery as required
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Communications, or other related field, and a minimum of 3 years of related professional experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proven experience in report and presentation development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively identify problems and explore solutions.
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office products (especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint) and design software such as Canva.
  • Knowledge and skills in business applications such as Power Automate and Power BI are highly desirable.
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Willingness to work in a hybrid work environment
  • Available for coverage of evening meetings and presentations, if necessary

Salary

$99,000 - $111,000 a year

National Grid utilizes an assessment that evaluates the job qualifications/characteristics using AI or statistically based scoring. For more information, please view NYC Local Law 144.

This position has a career path which provides for advancement opportunities within and across bands as you develop and evolve in the position; gaining experience, expertise and acquiring and applying technical skills. Internal candidates will be assessed and provided offers against the minimum qualifications of this role and their individual experience.
