On-Call Experienced Technician

Mead & Hunt, an award-winning national architecture and engineering firm, has continued to exceed our strategic growth initiatives creating opportunity for our current and prospective team members. As a result, an on-call part-time position is available for an experienced Technician to join our Aviation team. The hours for this position could vary weekly from 0 to 30 and potentially sometimes more than 30. Since this position is part-time, there are no benefits. This opportunity will be located at various project sites in the state of Minnesota.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting in training
• Visiting Brainerd Lakes Regional Airport as needed
• Attending client meetings
• May serve as the onsite project representative
• May assist with occasional inspections
• May assist in analysis and preparation of reports
• Other duties as assigned by the Department Manager.

A valid driver's license, the ability to pass background check to gain access to airport sites, and frequent travel up to 100% will be required.

The successful candidate must have at least one of the following:

• Associate's degree in relevant field from an accredited college or university
• At least 2 years of relevant experience

OR

• If no degree, must have at least 4 years of relevant experience.

The ideal candidate will have any/all of the following:

• At least 10 years of relevant airport project experience
• Experience in airport operations
• Experience in airport observation and documentation
• Experience interpreting plans and specifications
• Experience working with Brainerd Lakes Regional Airport, MNDOT and FAA

Hourly Rate Range: $29.00 to $38.00 - Actual compensation may vary due to other factors such as: experience, skill set or location.
