Scope of Position The Director, Talent Management role represents a dynamic opportunity for a professional with strong interpersonal, organizational, analytical and leadership skills to work as a key member of the Talent Management team. Reporting to the Vice President, Talent Management & Learning and collaborating with members of the global HR team, the Director, Talent Management will be a thought partner and valued member of the team by building and enhancing the function. This role will have 1-2 direct reports and be based out of North Andover, MA. Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities Core Responsibilities 
 Partner with the VP Talent Management & Learning to set a multi-year global Talent Management strategy Collaborate with global HR to implement the global Talent Management roadmap and initiatives Develop and gain leadership buy-in for the programs to engage, develop, and retain Top/Critical talent Continue to evolve Watts's organizational effectiveness programs and advance our community of highly engaged talent across the enterprise  
 
Performance Management  
 Oversee the continued roll out of a consistent global performance management process that focuses employee's efforts on the achievement of business goals and attainment of requisite skills/competencies Design and implement accountability tools for performance management process that raises the bar on performance expectations and manager capabilities  
 
Talent Review/Succession Planning 
 Partner with leaders and global HR to implement the Strategic Talent Review process focusing on both, the identification of top/critical talent and targeted development opportunities for them Develop and administer a succession process which focuses on building bench strength to meet current and future business needs Develop, implement, and evaluate succession management tools and strategies to increase Watts's capacity to make effective talent decisions and maintain healthy talent pipelines Drive best practices in succession planning and partner with global HR to ensure that a diverse bench of talent is identified and developed to meet organizational needs Conduct individual leadership, career and talent assessments as appropriate using a variety of tools Accelerate the readiness of our talent to achieve the enterprise strategy Develop a formal approach for mobility, focused on giving our talent opportunities to make intentional moves across the enterprise closing succession gaps and/or promoting development Partner with Talent team and global HR to reduce barriers and institute programs and tools to promote internal mobility  
 
Organizational Leadership  
 Form collaborative relationships with global HR to execute talent strategies and efforts to support the growth/strategic objectives of the company Research latest development in management, leadership and organization development areas and keep abreast to serve as a subject matter expert and consult to organization regarding critical people topics Partner with HRIS team for talent-related technology implementations (i.e., Workday) Establish and analyze talent metrics and qualitative information to measure and report on effectiveness Lead other Talent Management initiatives as needed.  
 
Required Qualifications 
 Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business Management or similar. 10+ years of experience in Talent Management/Organizational Development Experience in multiple Human Resources disciplines, including HR Business Partner, Talent Management, Organizational Development and Change Management Proven ability to translate business strategies into organizational initiatives Demonstrated ability to implement Talent Management initiatives and programs across the organization to management and staff at all levels Proven ability to conceptualize, design, lead, implement, and monitor broad HR-related programs and initiatives in the context of broader business/organizational objectives Experience working with global teams within a manufacturing industry Strong skills and experience in managing talent initiatives, internal consulting and organization development interventions Project management skills, analytical skills, organization skills, and strong time management skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Highly collaborative with an ability to work across multiple organization levels, geographies and partner with cross-functional teams Able to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment and demonstrate a sense of urgency Stays current with trends, research and best practices in Talent Management/Organizational Development Travel required: 15%

Working Conditions:  While performing the job duties, you will be working in an office environment. You will be required to work in the office at the North Andover, MA location three days per week (Monday - Wednesday) and can work remotely two days per week (Thursday and Friday). Physical Requirements: Specific physical abilities required for this position include, but are not limited to: 
 Ability to perform repetitive tasks like typing on a keyboard or using a mouse for extended periods. Ability to physically move around the office, organize or transport files, packages, or other office-related materials.  
 
 Ability to read documents, use a computer, and perform data entry tasks. Ability to communicate clearly with management and coworkers, particularly in meetings or phone calls.  
 
 Ability to operate standard office equipment such as computers, printers, phones, and copiers. Ability to occasionally lift and carry light objects, such as office supplies, documents, or small equipment.  
 
Pay Range: The expected salary range for this position is $158,000-$175,000 yearly. Actual compensation will be dependent upon individual skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable law.
