Position Summary

Responsible for ensuring the site is in compliance with governmental entities' laws, rules and regulations. Position will establish processes and systems to assure that the site is in compliance nationally and internationally. Additionally, will be responsible for auditing these processes to assure company remains in compliance as laws, regulations and international conditions change.

Scope/ Supervision and Interaction

Position reports to one or more of the following: Division Trade Compliance Manager or Division Compliance Manager.
Position does not have direct reports

Essential Functions

*Maintain and update the Site's Import & Export Compliance Manuals, and ensure the procedures and processes contained in the Manuals are adhered to.

*Remain informed of current import and export issues, regulations and laws through the attendance of compliance training sponsored by Parker, the government and industry experts.

*Maintains the Site/Division's item master for Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS), Country of Origin (COO) and License status.

*Collaboratively analyze the Site's imports and exports to ensure international, customer, and supplier requirements are met.

*Monitor international inbound and outbound orders, investigating and expediting those orders which have been delayed.

*Prepare, update, retain requisite domestic and international import and export documentation.

*Ensures import and export records are filed according to USG and Parker rules.

*Ensures compliance to industry regulations and protocols such as Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (CTPAT), International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR) .

*Understand and interpret related USG security regulations to ensure protection of CUI.

*Oversee access control systems and processes as well as customer/visitor management process.

*Prepare and maintain accurate security reports and documentation including security audits and incident reporting.

*Provide training and guidance to employees on security awareness and best practices.

*Conduct audits to identify potential security risks and vulnerabilities.

*Occasional travel may be necessary.

Qualifications

*Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply or Operations Management, Business, or equivalent

*Export Compliance certification preferred (Certified Export Compliance Professional)

*2 to 4 years' experience in an import and/or export environment

*Familiarity with domestic and international import/export laws and regulations, and the ability to analyze and implement legal and regulatory revisions as they are mandated.

*Intermediate level of knowledge of popular application software programs

*Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills for effective interface with all internal and external contacts.

*Experienced user of Government licensing and AES reporting sites (DECCS, SNAP-R, ACE)
