Security Officer - Government Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer - Government Patrol Driver in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will patrol assigned government locations to help maintain a secure environment for all. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service through clear and professional communication. This position requires driving as part of your daily responsibilities. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or the public by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols and site guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for irregularities.
• Communicate and collaborate with site personnel and local authorities as needed during regular operations and emergency response activities.
• Complete reports and documentation related to incidents, observations, and security-related activities during assigned shifts.
• Monitor access points and observe for unusual behavior or situations, escalating concerns according to site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
