Job Description




As a Security Officer - Government Facility Patrol Driver in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you'll use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and Pick up open shifts based on your availability-giving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you, while gaining valuable site experience across various industries. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol government-related areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service. Your visible presence and routine patrols will support a secure environment and foster strong relationships with the community. This role requires a valid driver's license and involves driving responsibilities as you conduct your patrols. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the needs of the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report irregularities.
  • Communicate observed issues or concerns to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as required.
  • Monitor public areas for unusual activity and maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disturbances.
  • Assist visitors and/or personnel with general inquiries and directions as needed.
  • Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client policies.
  • Collaborate with team members to support a secure and orderly environment at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
