Job Description




As a Security Professional - Healthcare Patrol Driver in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will be responsible for unarmed patrols throughout a variety of locations within commercial real estate, healthcare, and logistics and distribution settings. Your visible presence will help to deter potential security-related incidents, while you provide exceptional customer service and clear communication to clients and visitors. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting staff, visitors and/or vendors as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the property, including building interiors, exteriors and surrounding perimeters, to help to deter unauthorized activity and report any concerns.
  • Monitor access points and common areas, observing for any suspicious activity or conditions that require attention.
  • Document and report any incidents, maintenance issues or irregularities to the appropriate contacts according to established protocols.
  • Support Allied Universal management and client staff in maintaining a secure and welcoming environment across commercial, healthcare and logistics locations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least two years of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • The ability to work at limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets or a rustic guard shack is preferred.
  • Possessing a guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
