Security Professional - Mall Security Patrol

As a Security Professional - Mall Security Patrol in West Nyack, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated retail and mall areas, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols throughout the location, interact with visitors, and provide outstanding customer service while maintaining clear and professional communication. You will be part of a team that values integrity, teamwork, and innovation, all while helping to create a welcoming environment for shoppers and guests.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within the retail or mall location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall premises and surrounding areas to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment.
• Assist with access control and monitor entrances, exits, and common areas as appropriate for the location.
• Report and document security-related incidents, hazards, and suspicious activity according to company and site-specific procedures.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site staff to address security-related concerns and support emergency response activities as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
