Controller - Pompano Beach, FL Our client, a growing and dynamic organization, is seeking an experienced Controller to oversee the financial management, accounting operations, and strategic financial planning across multiple divisions. This is a hands-on leadership role that will partner closely with the CFO and executive team to drive financial performance, ensure compliance, and support continued growth. Key Responsibilities Partner with the CFO to develop and implement financial strategies, goals, policies, and operational procedures. Oversee accounting and financial management across multiple locations/divisions. Establish and maintain strong internal controls and continually enhance financial systems and reporting accuracy. Lead the preparation of GAAP-compliant financial statements, management reports, and performance analyses. Manage external audits, tax reporting, and relationships with external CPA firms. Ensure compliance with DOL, IRS, 401(k), medical, and DCAA regulations, as applicable. Drive cash flow management, working capital optimization, and financial process improvements. Deliver monthly business review packages and operational reports for leadership and regional finance teams. Lead and support ERP implementation and ongoing system enhancements. Provide financial insight and guidance to operational leaders to support business decisions and growth initiatives. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; CPA or MBA preferred. 5-10 years of progressive experience as a Controller or senior finance leader. Experience managing multi-location operations and leading diverse accounting teams. Strong background in cost accounting, standard costing, and percentage of completion (POC) revenue recognition. Proven expertise in inventory management and process optimization. Demonstrated ability to manage audits, reporting, and compliance across multiple regulatory areas. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to drive results in a fast-paced environment.
