We are seeking Senior* Product Designers to support a Global Technology and Media Company (based in the Bay Area, CA & Los Angeles, CA) working on desktop applications/internal tools. This is a full-time contract role, 6-months to start with extension possible. This role is HYBRID, in office T, W, Th in either Silicon Valley or Los Angeles. Must be eligible on W2. Description* We are looking for exceptional Senior Product Designers with end-to-end experience designing internal tools, enterprise products, and desktop applications based in the Bay Area or Los Angeles. In this role, you will create various user- centric products used by employees and partners. In addition, you will work alongside teams of Product Managers, Developers, and Producers to empower users in their day-to-day workflows. The ideal candidate for the role has deep curiosity for our users and how to best help them in their needs. Must have experience in Web (mobile not as necessary). MUST sit in Cupertino or Los Angeles 3x a week. Key Qualifications * A portfolio of work that showcases excellence in interaction design, from initial concept through finished product * Proven expertise in multiple areas of UX design, including service design, research, IA, visual, prototyping etc. * Outstanding ability communicate your ideas to designers, engineers, product managers, and leadership through story-telling, visuals and presentations * High degree of professionalism in communication and presentations (written and spoken) * Expertise documenting interaction details, visual design specifications, and QA of the implemented product * Expertise conducting competitive and comparative research * Experience in a highly Agile/scrum environment * Familiar with industry accessibility standards * Meticulous attention to detail * Expert level communication and organizational skills * Strong partnership with cross-functional teams Description The ideal candidate will have a passion for designing elegant, end-to-end experiences for the web and desktop. The position requires deliverables to be provided under tight deadlines and with input from many cross-functional stakeholders. Strong collaboration skills are a must, as well as coolness under pressure, problem solving, attention to detail, and the ability to cope with rapid change. Above all, the role requires a dedicated individual who understands high standards and design aesthetic to the core and shares our dedication to advancing education globally. Additional Skills & Qualifications * Portfolio demonstrating user interface and user experience design work * Basic experience in Jira project management software * 7+ years of experience in product design and/or UX/UI * Expert knowledge of Photoshop, illustrator and Sketch * Basic skills in After Effects or Premier and Keynote * Proficiency in macOS * All resumes must be accompanied by portfolio and/or website link Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $75.00 - $95.00/hr.
