Typical Day in the Life

A typical day as a Tax Manager might include the following:

• Preparing and reviewing complex individual (1040), fiduciary, partnership, Scorp, and multientity tax returns with significant investment, K1, real estate, and multigenerational family activity.
• Working with staff to ensure tax returns are completed correctly by required deadlines and under firm processes.
• Evaluating the client's full tax landscape-individual, trust, partnerships, and family entities-to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Performing technical research on individual, trust, partnership, estate, and related planning matters.
• Advising and coaching team members and providing consistent recognition and encouragement to team members.
• Managing client relationships by proactively seeking solutions that add value to the client experience.
• Supporting business development efforts by identifying prospective clients, preparing proposals and engagement materials, conducting industry research, and representing the firm at networking events and industry functions.

Who You Are:

• You have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• You have an active CPA or Enrolled Agent license.

• You have 5+ years of experience in public accounting tax work with broad exposure across individual, partnership, and fiduciary returns.
• You have experience with - or willingness to deepen skills in - real estate partnerships, multientity groups, and multigenerational family structures.
• You're an excellent communicator who builds trustbased client relationships.
• You enjoy leading, mentoring, and helping others grow.
• You're energized by longterm opportunity, succession involvement, and taking ownership of client relationships.
• You are authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Compensation: $130,000 - $160,000

Our compensation philosophy emphasizes competitive and equitable pay. Eide Bailly complies with all local/state regulations regarding displaying ranges. Final compensation decisions are dependent upon factors such as geography, experience, education, skills, and internal equity.
