-Develop and communicate a comprehensive strategic vision that aligns with the AMC's mission, values, and long-term goals.
-Collaborate with executive leadership to set departmental objectives, performance metrics, and growth strategies.
-Provide clinical leadership to ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care within the department.
-Foster a culture of clinical excellence, safety, and continuous quality improvement.
-Advance the department's academic and research missions by fostering an environment of scholarship, innovation, and collaboration.
-Support faculty and researchers in pursuing research projects, grants, and academic achievements.

Experience
Clinical practice and leadership experience, including substantial experience within the specific specialty area. 8-10+ years required

- Demonstrated expertise in the specific medical specialty, with a strong record of clinical excellence, research, and teaching.
- Exceptional leadership skills, including the ability to inspire and lead a team of clinicians, educators, and researchers.
- Strong strategic thinking, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
- Proven experience in administrative and budgetary oversight.
- Active involvement in relevant medical and academic professional organizations.
- Familiarity with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and quality assurance processes.
