Position Summary
As a Project Manager 3, you will play a key role in bringing our clients' packaging to life - ensuring every artwork file is production-ready and print-perfect. You'll act as a central connection point between design teams, printers, on-site personnel, sales, and our internal production teams. Your deep understanding of print and packaging processes allows you to translate printer feedback into clear, actionable production instructions that drive success across every project.

In this role, you will manage key client accounts, help guide project timelines, and champion communication that keeps stakeholders aligned and confident. You will also provide mentorship and support to junior Project Managers and contribute to ongoing process improvements that enhance both client satisfaction and production excellence.

Essential Responsibilities



  • Partner with on-site personnel and clients throughout the artwork development and pre-press execution process
  • Participate in and lead pre-production meetings, applying your print knowledge to identify opportunities for improved printability and quality
  • Manage key accounts with professionalism, accuracy, and a proactive mindset
  • Maintain clear and timely communication with clients, printers, and internal teams, ensuring alignment across all stages of the project
  • Translate printer feedback into production-ready artwork instructions and relay them to internal teams with precision and clarity
  • Document all relevant project details to ensure consistency, quality, and transparency
  • Lead process improvement initiatives to foster efficiency, collaboration, and creative excellence
  • Review and verify technical data for accuracy against supplied artwork
  • Manage multiple projects and timelines simultaneously while maintaining high attention to detail
  • Use client databases and internal systems to track, manage, and communicate project progress
  • Support pricing updates and create client-specific matrices as needed
  • Serve as a key resource to on-site personnel, sales, and production, offering guidance and support when questions arise
  • Provide mentorship and training to junior Project Managers



Education, Experience, & Certification



  • High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred
  • 5+ years of project management experience in print, packaging, and/or production art



Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities



  • Strong understanding of prepress and print manufacturing processes
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently while maintaining a collaborative team approach
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting production instructions and business communications
  • Proofreading skills and a commitment to quality



Physical Requirements



  • Regularly required to sit, use hands to handle materials, and communicate effectively
  • Frequently required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms
  • Occasionally lift or move up to 10 pounds
  • Must have normal color vision and the ability to adjust focus


Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This is a remote position in the US. We are open to candidates in various states, with the exception of those residing in the following: AK, DC, ME, NH, NM, OK, HI, MS, MT, NV, NE, ND, SD, VT, WY, WV

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $52,236 - $65,295 USD annually. Ultimately, in determining pay, we will consider the successful candidate's location, experience, and other job-related factors.
