About Salesforce

Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn't a buzzword - it's a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.

Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You're in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.

We are transforming Salesforce into the world's leading Agentic Talent Enterprise-building a unified, intelligent talent ecosystem that delivers proactive, hyper-personalized experiences powered by Human+AI collaboration. This is a critical executive role for a visionary VP to define and lead the enterprise-wide strategy for Performance & Talent Management. You will own the intelligent talent management system - a unified platform that learns, automates, drives insights, and takes action, with managers in the loop for high-stakes decisions. You are accountable for translating this vision into measurable business outcomes-Growth, Profitability, Efficiency, Productivity, and Retention-at global scale. You are both a Talent Visionary and Product-Minded Executive, setting enterprise strategy while driving cross-functional alignment across ES, Product, Engineering, Legal, and Finance to deliver transformational outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

1. Enterprise Strategy & Intelligent Talent System Vision

  • Set the enterprise-wide strategy and multi-year vision for an intelligent TMS that unifies performance, promotions, compensation, feedback, and talent reviews-giving leaders visibility into all levers to reward, retain, and invest in talent at scale.

  • Drive executive alignment on complex, high-value agentic capabilities: predictive retention, succession scenario modeling, always-on promotion readiness, and AI-powered talent calibration.

  • Own the business outcomes framework connecting talent practices to Growth, Profitability, Efficiency, Productivity, and Retention-reporting progress to executive leadership and the Board.

  • Establish enterprise-wide AI governance policy, defining Human-in-the-Loop standards and auditability requirements for all high-stakes talent decisions.

  • Shape the future of performance by embedding AI Quotient (AQ) and Human+AI collaboration as core factors in how we assess and reward talent.

2. Platform Strategy & Cross-Functional Executive Partnership

  • Own the Talent & Performance platform strategy-setting investment priorities, defining success metrics, and ensuring alignment with enterprise technology roadmap.

  • Drive the vision for "always-on" ambient intelligence-agents delivering real-time coaching and insights in the flow of work, transforming how managers lead and develop talent.

  • Lead cross-functional executive partnerships with Equality, Product, Engineering, Legal, Security, and Finance to build and scale the unified talent data architecture (skills graph, goals, outcomes, agentic telemetry).

  • Total Rewards Integration: Partner with Compensation & Benefits to architect a seamless link between AI-driven performance insights and pay-for-performance models, ensuring that compensation, equity, and recognition are dynamically aligned with talent impact and real-time productivity data.

3. Organizational Leadership & Enterprise Transformation

  • Build, lead, and scale a high-performing organization of talent leaders and program owners; develop succession bench strength.

  • Serve as a strategic advisor to the CHRO and executive leadership team on performance, rewards, and talent intelligence.

  • Lead enterprise-wide transformation ensuring adoption, trust, and cultural readiness for agentic talent systems.

  • Transform managers globally into energy multipliers-equipped with agents delivering predictive guidance that accelerate productivity, retention, and customer outcomes.

4. Industry Leadership & Strategic Positioning

  • Represent ES externally as a thought leader on the future of AI-powered talent management.

  • Strategic Research & Global Benchmarking: Lead continuous research into emerging AI talent trends and industry best practices to benchmark Salesforce's agentic maturity against global competitors, ensuring the enterprise remains at the forefront of talent innovation and human-capital ROI.

Expected Outcomes:

  • Enterprise-wide adoption of an intelligent, unified talent management system

  • Measurable improvement in manager effectiveness through real-time AI-powered coaching

  • Demonstrable correlation between talent practices and business outcomes (Growth, Profitability, Efficiency, Productivity, Retention)

  • Proactive retention risk mitigation and accelerated succession planning at scale

  • Industry-leading position in ethical, responsible AI governance for talent

Qualifications:

  • 15+ years in talent management, HR technology, or related field with 8+ years in senior leadership roles

  • Proven track record delivering enterprise-scale transformation with measurable business impact

  • Executive presence with ability to influence C-suite and Board-level stakeholders

  • Deep expertise in AI/agentic capabilities, ethical AI governance, and HR technology ecosystems

  • Experience leading cross-functional executive partnerships across Product, Engineering, and Operations

  • Strong business acumen with P&L or budget accountability experience
