Job Description




As a Security Professional - Government Screening Patrol in Stockton, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more.

As a SCREENER with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment within a government location. Your responsibilities include monitoring entrances, conducting routine patrols, and remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will interact with visitors and staff, providing exceptional customer service and communication while upholding Allied Universal's values of integrity, teamwork, and putting people first. What You'll Do:

    Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and screen all individuals entering the location, following established protocols to help to deter unauthorized access.
  • Provide customer service by assisting visitors and responding to inquiries in a professional manner.
  • Conduct security-related screening procedures, such as checking bags and/or using detection equipment as required by site-specific policies.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
  • Document and report any unusual activities, incidents, or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Support emergency response activities as needed, including assisting with evacuations or lockdowns according to site procedures.
  • Maintain a visible presence at entry points to help to deter prohibited items and/or unauthorized individuals from entering the premises.

  • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

  • A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
