Security Professional - Utility Site Patrol - Full Time

As a Security Professional -- Utility Site Patrol - Full Time in Kahului, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more.

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment at a utilities location. Your role will involve monitoring entrances and exits, conducting routine patrols, and remaining visible to provide excellent customer service and communication. You will play a key role in supporting a reliable and innovative team that values integrity and puts people first. Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including those related to access control at utility locations.
• Monitor and control entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or activities within the premises.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to observe and report any unusual activity or potential security-related concerns.
• Assist with emergency response activities in accordance with established protocols for utility environments.
• Maintain accurate logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and/or irregularities observed during shifts.
• Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal team members to support a secure and welcoming environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
