Description Acara Solutions has a Material Handler (Kitting) job in Garden Grove, CA. Our client is a leader in the semiconductor industry. Qualified candidates will have at least 2 years of experience as a Material Handler. A successful candidate will be skilled in kitting, material handling, and inventory. This individual will provide support to the Production Floor and Shipping. A variety of software systems are used such as ERP and Agile. The pay rate is between $19.00- 21.00 p/hr. DOE Material Handler (Kitting) job responsibilities include: Responsible for receiving production, kitting and inventory management. Packing products for warehouse storage and shipments. Ability to work across business areas and interface at all levels of the organization Perform physical and administrative tasks in receiving, shipping, storing , and distributing orders/material for supplies and equipment. Execute Cycle Counting program and investigate and present supervisor with root cause analysis. Implement process improvements as needed. Participate in cross-functional teams devoted to efficiency, cost-reduction, inventory reduction, inventory turns, and quality. Monitor key performance indicators to ensure achievement of goals. Evaluate problems and make initial recommendations for possible corrective action to the manager. Other projects, duties, or cross-training responsibilities as assigned. Job Requirements Required Skills / Qualifications: Qualifications/Requirements 0-3 years of industry experience in warehousing / shipping/receiving distribution. High School Diploma/GED Able to work in Microsoft Word and Excel Able to handle deadlines and work under tight time constraints. Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time. Able to work well with others. Preferred qualifications: Experience working with an ERP System as well as Agile. Knowledge of ESD material guidelines. Physical Requirements Must be able to lift, push, pull 25 lbs. and carry 25 lbs. 30% standing, 20% walking, 50% sitting; 100% indoors Must be able to perform activities that include bending at waist, feeling, handling, lifting, pushing, reaching, seeing, talking, works alone, works around others.
