The purpose of this role is to:

  • Lead the delivery of core business activities and change projects.

  • Support ongoing performance, optimization of IT systems and business processes.

  • Identify new opportunities for improvement and, where relevant, prepare business case proposals.

  • Conduct deviation investigations, write file notes, issue change notices for eLogs updates.

  • Participate in the Project Management Community of Practice.

  • Represent the department in external groups (e.g., Data Integrity, Quality initiatives, etc.).

Effort and activity will be focused on relevant business tasks & improvements, including:

  • System and process ownership.

  • Improved quality and compliance.

  • Improved productivity.

  • Increased capability.

Responsibilities include:

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:

  • Ownership of Packaging Operations business systems including, but not limited to, Electronic Logbooks, Electronic Batch Records, Time and Activity Tracker.

  • Ongoing management and delivery of improvement projects.

  • Management of technical transfer for new products and/or processes, including participating in global teams and pulling in operations staff as necessary to ensure transfer is minimally disruptive to production.

  • Obtain training as a Business Lead Investigator to lead the timely and thorough completion of investigations and solution implementation to maintain fully compliant operation.

  • Proficient user of key IT systems operating within the department.

  • Ensure SOPs are developed and in place for any systems or processes introduced.

  • Mentor and train operations staff on use of production systems or processes.

  • Manage a portion of the portfolio of projects in Packaging Operations on time and within budget.

  • Accountable and empowered to solve project issues as they arise and escalate as appropriate to Packaging Operations leadership.

  • Lead process improvement activities.

Why You? Basic Qualifications

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 4+ years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing and/or supply.

  • Experience with R&D Tech Project Management Process (including Agile), R&D Tech organization and roles, and a basic understanding of systems architecture and technical terms.

  • Experience in simple statistical analysis, data analytics, and cost justification.

  • Experience with managing and documenting investigations (Business Lead Investigator) and implementing CAPA.

Preferred Experience

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new IT systems such as Syncade and LeanKit at a level to be able to define settings, ways of working, and train others.

  • Proven knowledge, practical understanding, and demonstrated use of continuous improvement tools, including change management.

  • Capability to prioritize tasks within and between multiple projects for self and teams.

  • Experience leading cross-functional teams.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Flexibility with and capability of taking on new challenges, working with key contacts to assess a situation, determine course of action, and execute necessary tasks to accomplish a goal.

  • Collaborates with others to define and achieve team goals and objectives. Bridges personal, business, and cultural differences to work effectively in team settings.

  • Demonstrated ability to mentor others.

  • Project Management skills: demonstrated ability to set and reach challenging goals and ability to resolve difficulties.
