Regulatory Scientist

You'll be the subject-matter expert who guides cross-functional teams-manufacturing, sales, marketing, R&D, and legal-through the complex world of FDA, USDA, and other regulatory requirements. From new product launches to keeping our existing portfolio fully compliant, your fingerprints will be all over the success of our brands.

What You'll Do

• Lead the development and execution of regulatory strategies for new and existing products.
• Review and approve ingredient claims, ensuring compliance with regulations and brand integrity.
• Craft and validate label copy, ingredient statements, nutritional panels, and product claims-making sure they are legally sound and scientifically accurate.
• Keep a pulse on the regulatory landscape (FDA, USDA, and beyond) and proactively adjust strategies.
• Serve as the primary liaison with regulatory agencies while building and maintaining positive relationships.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to provide regulatory guidance and training.
• Safeguard food safety and compliance under SQF System requirements and report potential issues promptly.

What You Bring

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Regulatory Affairs, or a related field (advanced degree a plus).
• Experience: Strong knowledge of regulatory processes and a proven track record in compliance and submissions.
