Oncology Precision Medicine Strategy and Operations Specialist

Remote-Central and Eastern Time Zones Preferred

One of our long-term and successful oncology precision medicine team has introduced a new pilot role: Precision Medicine Strategy and Operations Specialist, which requires an individual with strong project management and strategic capabilities.

This full-time, 4-month pilot role comes with a competitive salary, bonus potential and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, 401K, company-supported long-term and short-term disability, life insurance, paid holidays, and PTO. Position Summary:

The Precision Medicine Strategy and Operations Specialist manage strategic plans to ensure program objectives are met according to contract requirements. Supporting the National Program Director and PML team, this role includes operational and critically important project management tasks, this includes the creation and delivery of PowerPoint business presentations and conducting detailed program analysis. Drive alignment with strategic goals, team development, facilitating team education and collaboration. Help drive this 4-month pilot successfully into a long-term role. We are looking for a strategic, analytical results-driven candidate to make this pilot a success. .

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Support the program requirements into operational tasks for successful execution of contractual deliverables.
  • Operational support streamline processes, helping the Director establish efficient workflows and processes for the PML team.
  • Data management, assist in gathering, analyzing, and presenting data to track metrics and measure teams' effectiveness.
  • Resource allocation, ensure the PML team has tools, resources and training they need to perform their roles effectively, including assessing clinical data and diagnostic related presentations.
  • Driving alignment of strategic goals
  • Goal execution, translate high level strategic objectives into actionable plans.
  • Market insights function as a conduct for field-based observations and insights, providing the Director with valuable information to refine strategies.
  • Assist in any challenges ensuring team cohesion while supporting business objectives.
  • Team development, identify any skills gaps and work with the Director to organize team training to strengthen the team's expertise in precision medicine, diagnostics, and oncology-related practices.

  • Utilizes Excel for advanced data analysis, reporting, and visualization to support decision-making.
  • Support the Program Director cultivating a team-oriented (with Amplity employees and Client employees), productive and positive work environment.
  • Support the Program Director when requested ensuring the PMLs fully comply with all laws, regulations and Amplity Policies, Code of Conduct, terms, and conditions.
  • Represent client at National and/or local conventions when applicable.
  • .Other duties as assigned.

Education, Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required.
  • Prior experience as a PML/PML type role a plus
  • Oncology and or Oncology pathology diagnostic experience desired
  • Outstanding PowerPoint and Excel skills required.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills required.
  • Tech savvy with meeting platforms and other relevant software programs.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in one or more of the following oncology, diagnostics, or pathology
  • Excellent leadership and facilitation skills.
  • Residence in the Eastern or Central time zone preferred.
  • Valid driver's license with a safe driving record required.
  • Ability to travel to work related meetings and functions including overnight and/or weekend), field observations and training sessions.
  • Must successfully complete all Amplity and client training.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Working knowledge of oncology, diagnostic and pharmaceutical industry desired
  • Exceptional collaboration capabilities
  • Advanced facilitation, problem-solving, and analytical skills to consistently support well-informed business decisions.
  • Proficiency in comprehending and articulating complex technical and medical terminology, along with maintaining necessary technical expertise.

Credentialing Requirements:

As a representative of a pharmaceutical company, you may be required to submit and maintain credentials, such as training, vaccinations, and other job-related documentation to gain access to hospitals or healthcare providers. It is the Company's expectation that you comply with the requirements outlined by the facilities on your call plans.

Additionally, certain geographic jurisdictions or hospital systems have requirements to apply for and obtain a representative license. At this time, representatives working in the District of Columbia, City of Chicago, State of Nevada, State of Oregon, or those associated with Jackson Memorial Health in Miami-Dade County Florida may be required to obtain specific licenses. This list may be subject to change, including the potential for additions or modifications. In the event of any significant changes, you will be notified accordingly.
