15380BR FTE: 1.0 Shift: Monday - Friday, day shift - Based on clinic needs Compensation: $18.32+ Hours Per Week: 40 Weekends: No Benefit Eligible $1,500 Sign-On Bonus! The Clinic Phlebotomist is responsible for performing phlebotomy on patients of all ages and difficulty in an efficient and professional manner. Also responsible for processing specimens, performing waived and minimal moderate complexity testing, performing and documenting quality controls, and using multiple information systems to locate orders and report results. Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Basic computer skills. Preferred Qualifications: Courses in phlebotomy, medical terminology, and anatomy and physiology. Successful completion of a phlebotomy, medical assisting, or emergency technician program. 6 months of phlebotomy experience. Experience with electronic health records and laboratory information systems. Specimen Processing Experience using a microscope.
