DIVISION OF HEMATOLOGY/ONCOLOGY, DEPARTMENT OF MEDICINE UNIVERSITY OF VERMONT CANCER CENTER, LARNER COLLEGE OF MEDICINE The Division of Hematology/Oncology in the Department of Medicine at the Larner College of Medicine, the University of Vermont Cancer Center and its teaching hospital, the UVM Medical Center and UVM Health Network, is seeking an academic clinician with experience in solid tumor oncology to join our academic faculty. The position is available at the rank of Assistant/Associate Professor in the Clinical Scholar Pathway. This position involves approximately 80% effort toward clinical oncology care focused on GU cancers with remaining effort protected for scholarly activities. A disease focus within medical oncology is possible depending on a candidate's experience and interests. Substantial opportunities exist for collaborative and translational research with investigators in the UVM Cancer Center. Applicants must be ABIM board certified/board eligible in Medical Oncology and must be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Vermont, for privileges at UVM Medical Center, and for faculty appointment at the University of Vermont. Candidates should have a record of or potential for productive cancer-focused clinical research. The anticipated salary ranges for this position are: Assistant Professor: $350,000-$400,000 Associate Professor: $375,000-$425,000 The referenced salary ranges reflect the combined total range based on dual employment by both the University of Vermont and the University of Vermont Health Network. The salary ranges do not include all components of compensation. Therefore, the actual compensation paid to the selected candidate may vary from the salary ranges stated herein.
