Job Description (General Summary)
Intralox is seeking an Equipment Controls Product Manager to lead the strategy, development and commercialization of controls-related products, including software, electrical hardware, and integrated sensing solutions. This role is central to enhancing our software capabilities and delivering greater customer value through advanced machine controls, sensing, and AI technologies. By embedding intelligence and connectivity into our equipment, the Product Manager helps unlock the full potential of Intralox's patented mechanical technologies. As the global business owner for controls offerings, this individual is ultimately responsible for their commercial success.
The role primarily supports the Logistics and Material Handling business unit, which sells industry-leading material handling equipment to the world's largest e-commerce, parcel and postal companies. At the same time, where controls products have overlapping potential in the Food and Industrial segment, the Product Manager will collaborate with relevant stakeholders in this part of Intralox's business to maximize impact across both markets.
The ideal candidate combines strong commercial acumen, technical expertise, and cross-functional leadership. The Equipment Controls Product Manager will define customer value, shape product vision and strategy, and ensure alignment with organizational goals. A background in controls, automation, or software-enabled systems is essential for engaging effectively with customers, suppliers, engineers, and industry thought leaders. This includes understanding both product- and system-level controls, as well as emerging sensing and AI technologies. Lastly, success in this role requires a collaborative mindset and the ability to lead cross-functional teams - including Sales, R&D, Operations, and other Product Managers - through all stages of the product lifecycle.
