WHAT YOU WOULD DO:
QUALIFICATIONS:Candidates should have a minimum of five years’ work experience in a related field at journey level or with a college degree in a technical field. Preferred work experience includes utility revenue metering, substation equipment and operation, and system protection and control. Possess a good working knowledge of metering operations and meter types, transmission/distribution protective relaying, and substation apparatus. Required experience includes transmission/distribution maintenance practices, knowledge of electrical system construction, standard materials, and substation equipment operation. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to work constructively in a team atmosphere. BENEFITS:Employees and dependents are eligible for medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance and disability insurance. Employees are enrolled in Washington State PERS and may enroll in deferred compensation plans. Employees will also receive eight hours of vacation leave and sick leave every month and twelve paid holidays throughout the calendar year. SALARY:Salary ranges are market based and established annually. With full competency in the role and satisfactory performance, the target is midpoint within the established range.
