Job Description Summary:

Manages the design and development of learning experiences including instructor led, webinars, and e-Learning modules related to employee and leadership development. Conducts needs assessments, designs curriculum and tools, and determines evaluation methods for learning.

Job Description:

Essential Functions:
  • Ensures the proper preparation, implementation, and management of instructional development projects.
  • Leverages adult learning theories in designing educational programs that incorporate engaging learning activities. Reviews training methodology to determine the most effective delivery.
  • Collaborates and consults with subject matter experts (SME's) in developing content, learning activities, and resources to support learner needs.
  • Develops communication strategies and marketing tools that inform internal leaders and staff of talent development priorities and opportunities.
  • Ensures alignment of programs in partnership with internal and external HR functional areas.

Education Requirement:

Bachelor's Degree in Instructional Design, Instructional Technology / Education, Organizational Effectiveness, Human Resources, or Business.

Skills:

Solid experience in instructional design, curriculum development, facilitation, and evaluation of learning.

Strong visual and graphic design skills.

Effective planning, project management, and organizational skills.

Able to analyze data related to training and performance.

Able to assess outcomes based on learning.


Experience:

Three years of experience in the field of Instructional Design, Organizational Effectiveness, Learning & Development, Education, or Human Resources.

Experience with A.D.D.I.E. and other instructional design principles.

Knowledge and/or experience in working in Learning Management Systems, PowerPoint, e-Learning authoring tools, audio and video editing.
