Job Title: EHS/Training Specialist What this job involves: This position serves as the primary point of contact for Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) and training requirements at client sites. The role involves implementing EHS policies, managing training programs, ensuring regulatory compliance, conducting investigations, and maintaining safety standards to protect employees and client property. The specialist will work closely with site operations teams and account leadership to promote a positive safety culture while managing all aspects of training delivery and compliance reporting. Your day-to-day tasks will include: * Serve as primary contact for all EHS/Training requirements and communicate needs/results to account leadership * Implement EHS/Training policies, practices and programs at the site level while building and maintaining the CYS CET training program * Champion EHS standards to prevent accidents and incidents, participating in investigations and root cause analysis when events occur * Complete and maintain Hazard/PPE Assessments and help manage the PPE Program including ordering, tracking and maintaining equipment * Support sites during audits from clients, corporate staff, OSHA, fire departments, health inspectors, and insurance representatives * Conduct EHS Systems inspections, audit workplace standards, and support root cause investigations and near miss presentations * Manage all aspects of training including reporting, tracking, maintaining, developing, and providing training to account teams * Provide specialized training (train the trainer) for facility teams on topics such as Confined Space, Power Industrial Vehicles, and Ergonomics * Oversee tracking and monitoring of EHS/Training performance metrics, manage reporting, and ensure incidents are properly captured in AIMS Desired experience and technical skills: * 5 years prior experience in comparable EHS program (8 years preferred) * Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) * Working knowledge of relevant current legislation and health & safety regulations * Practical working knowledge of Health and Safety tools and techniques, ideally within a Facilities Management environment * Strong understanding of relevant standards, legislation, codes of practice, guidance and operating procedures * Presentation skills to deliver specialist advice at all levels and provide localized training * Strong understanding of CET Levels and site operations Requirements: * Bachelor's Degree in a related area or equivalent combination of education and relevant field experience * CET 3 qualification * Strong organizational skills and collaborative management style * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Ability to conduct audits and gather objective evidence through observation, interview and document sampling * Ability to work through and identify root cause of problems * Physical ability to sit/stand for long durations, climb ladders, walk extended periods on uneven terrain * Ability to work in potentially hazardous environments with noise, moving parts, electrical and combustion equipment * Willingness to work overtime and/or different shifts as required Preferred: * General Industry OSHA 10/30 Hour Instructor certification * Evidence of strong interpersonal skills to establish credibility with colleagues and senior management * Ability to keep abreast of trends and related best practices * Information management proficiency Location: On-site -Cheyenne, WYIf this job description resonates with you, we encourage you to apply, even if you don't meet all the requirements.
