Training Coordinator

Conduct field Caregiver orientation and continuing education for assigned area.

Conducts training for field employees and maintains documentation
• Performs skills training and conducts competency evaluations of field staff at assigned service site(s)
• Provides ongoing training support related for required skills
• Schedules training per assessed needs
• Notifies employees 30 days prior to any expiration dates to ensure up-to-date training records
• Maintains supplies for all scheduled training
• Manages records of training activities
• Monitors and report effectiveness of training efforts and programs
• Ensures employees are comfortable and able to focus on learning and that the employee education process is as positive as possible
• Supports training in three branch locations
• Other duties as assigned

• High school diploma or GED
• Certified Nursing Assistant with current certification
• Minimum of two years' experience working in a facility based healthcare setting or community home health performing the tasks required under the Home Services Agency license within the last five years
• Preferred experience training or mentoring other CNA's
• Knowledge and experience of caregiving responsibilities
• Travel required using company provided vehicle and must have a good driving record
• Vehicle will be provided to use for travel between branches, however, on occasion willing to use personal vehicle
• Available to work evenings and weekends
