Customer Care Specialist

Staffmark is hiring a Customer Care Specialist in Crystal Lake, IL. If you have a knack for technical support, enjoy working with cross-functional teams, and are passionate about delivering excellent customer service, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

Pay: $15.00 - $24.00/hr, depending on experience

Schedule:

• 1st Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Some weekend availability may be required

What You'll Do:

• Respond to phone and email inquiries about product specifications, technical issues, and order status
• Serve as the main point of contact between customers (e.g., plant engineers) and internal teams such as engineering, sales, and logistics
• Enter and manage customer orders in the ERP system
• Coordinate shipping, special order requests, and resolve delivery or logistics issues (e.g., returns, customs delays)
• Use manuals and engineering documentation to guide customers through installation and configuration
• Support devices like pressure and temperature transmitters (APT/ATT-series); escalate advanced issues when needed
• Maintain detailed CRM logs of interactions, solutions, and follow-ups
• Generate internal reports highlighting customer feedback, common issues, and service trends
• Provide customer insights to engineering and product teams
• Participate in training sessions to stay informed on product updates and technical enhancements
