Finance Transformation team member, in
Crowe's Consulting Practice your role will be focused on helping clients resolve business needs in the areas of accounting and finance. You will have the opportunity to work on diverse teams with experienced experts to problem-solve and present constructive solutions to our clients. This position will be responsible for developing and maintaining accounting principles, practices, and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements for clients. Your career could launch in one of the following areas: Public Sector Support clients in budgeting, capital planning, bond market research, rate studies, financial modeling, and economic development analysis. Accounting Consulting Assist with financial reporting, standards implementation, and risk mitigation. Compliance Work on audits, attestation, grant compliance, subrecipient monitoring, and GAGAS performance reviews. Internal Audit Conduct risk assessments, internal audits, and support Enterprise Risk Management initiatives. Industry Consulting Serve diverse sectors (e.g., Financial Services, Tech, Life Sciences) by:
Providing SOX/internal controls, IPO readiness, and process optimization Supporting ASC 842 leasing implementation Researching technical accounting issues and drafting memos
Skills and Requirements:
Deliver monthly accounting services, including full-cycle accounting (month-end close, journal entries, accruals, variance analysis). Reconcile bank accounts and significant balance sheet accounts. Record transactions to appropriate general ledger accounts; manage AP/AR processes. Review vendor invoices and prepare payroll entries; assist with payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Gusto). Generate monthly financial reports and statements (e.g., Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow). Support external audit and tax schedules; contribute to special projects like accounting cleanups, budgeting, and forecasting. Participate in limited client networking and relationship building. Communicate effectively with executives and regulators; produce high-quality written deliverables. Apply analytical thinking and structured problem-solving to complex issues. Adapt to fast-paced, evolving environments; manage time and risk effectively. Demonstrate curiosity, accountability, and a growth mindset. Work well independently and in teams; thrive under deadlines. Exhibit entrepreneurial drive and quickly learn new systems. Credential goal: CPA, CMA, ACCA, or Chartered Accountant (required for promotion to Manager)
Education:
Pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting CPA Eligibility - You must be scheduled to meet the educational requirements to obtain a CPA license. Prior to starting full-time, new hires must fulfill the education-related eligibility criteria to obtain a CPA license in their assigned Crowe work location. These requirements vary by state, and it is the new hire's responsibility to ensure that they satisfy the applicable criteria prior to starting with the firm.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Crowe, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $62,000 - $100,000 per year.
