Description Maine Medical CenterManagement/Leadership Summary: The Senior Director of Cardiac Procedural Services is the vital link between the mission and vision of Maine Medical Center, the MaineHealth Cardiovascular Service Line, and the delivery of safe patient and family centered care that is compassionate, evidence-based, and provides highest quality care. This role reports through the Chief Operations Officer with a matrix reporting relationship to the Vice President of the MH Cardiovascular Service Line. This role requires dyad relationships with the EP Lab, Cath Lab, VAD, and ECMO Medical Directors, and close partnership with physicians, senior administration, directors and other professional colleagues to meet the diverse and continually changing challenges of the health care environment. The Senior Director will oversee Cardiac Cath and Electrophysiology labs, Perfusion, and MMCP hospital-based cardiac testing. These services must be positioned to be creative, autonomous, future-oriented, risk-taking entrepreneurs who apply clinical and operational expertise, strategic and critical thinking, and effective leadership and management skills to ensure that quality care is provided through satisfied and inspired professionals within cardiac services at Maine Medical Center Portland and within the Cardiovascular Service Line.
