DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this role, you will engage in various trades at the sub-journey level, focusing on maintenance and repair tasks. Your responsibilities will include performing minor repair jobs of a routine nature, which you may complete independently or with minimal supervision. Additionally, you will assist skilled tradesmen or foremen with more complex tasks. Oversight will be provided by a maintenance supervisor who will assign duties and evaluate the quality of your work. A foundational understanding of the methods, materials, tools, practices, safety protocols, and potential hazards associated with trades such as carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical work, masonry, electrical work, welding, and landscaping is essential, although this list is not exhaustive. Furthermore, you should be capable of operating various equipment, including tractors, mowers, dump trucks, skid steers, pickup trucks, motorized turf equipment, and chainsaws. It is also important to be able to read and comprehend operation and maintenance manuals for this equipment. Interested in learning more? - This is a seasonal, full-time position with no healthcare benefits. There is not an option to buy into health care benefits. The season runs from approximately March 2025 until November 2025 at which time the employee will be placed on leave without pay. The employee will automatically be returned to employment approximately March 2026.
- Employee in this position will be required to work weekends, and holidays as required. Days/Shifts will vary, employee will work 37.5 hrs./5 days per week.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Two years of experience in general maintenance work which has involved at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training that affords the applicant with the Required Knowledges, Skills, and Abilities.
Special Requirements:
- This position requires possession of a valid Pennsylvania Class C Driver's License.
