Job Description
Solicits and services a variety of large and complex commercial loans and expands relationships with existing ones. Performs a due diligence review of potential borrowers, including a risk and financial analysis. Will analyze financials statements, assess credit risk, and structure loan packages tailored to the specific needs of the business. Build relationships with potential borrowers -will review loan requests and provide loan information to analyst. Will collaborate with the underwriters to assist with completing the credit presentation. Monitors and maintain existing commercial loan portfolio while ensuring compliance with credit policies and identifying potential issues. Adheres to all regulatory requirements and internal risk and operating policies and procedures. Typically reports to a director. Works autonomously. Mentors and provide guidance and support to Jr lenders and to the department through knowledge in the area of specialization. Works on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state-of-the-art technical or industry knowledge. Senior loan officers may generate additional revenue for the bank through other means like depositary relationships, treasury services, and wealth management, not just loan volume. Job Qualifications
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:Bachelors in Finance, Accounting or Business Adm. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:Eleven (11) +years-Commercial Lending Experience, with an established loan portfolio of at least $50 million |
