The Opportunity

The Master Data & Document Analyst plays a pivotal role in ensuring TC Energy's asset information and controlled documents meet enterprise standards. This role facilitates cross-functional collaboration, drives process improvements, and ensures alignment between document control and master data governance across the organization.

What you'll do

Stakeholder Engagement & Process Facilitation

  • Lead and facilitate endorsement and change management processes involving diverse stakeholders across TC Energy.
  • Coordinate with Document Change Coordinators, Document Contacts, and external contractors (e.g., Technical Writers).
  • Foster continuous improvement of documents, processes, and systems through professional collaboration.. Document Governance & Change Management
  • Oversee the full lifecycle of controlled documents including creation, revision, review, obsoleting, and publishing.
  • Ensure appropriate quality and consistency in impact assessments, communication strategies, training, and implementation plans.
  • Maintain and update endorsement trackers and dashboards to reflect document status and stakeholder approvals

Master Data Governance & SAP Integration

  • Ensure asset information adheres to SAP Data Standards and revise standards to meet evolving business needs.
  • Implement new facilities, equipment, and preventative maintenance programs into SAP per defined standards.
  • Identify and resolve SAP master data issues, recommend optimizations, and support enhancements through business requirements gathering and user acceptance testing

Communication & Training

  • Develop and execute communication strategies (emails, info sessions, LMS modules) for document and data changes.
  • Create and maintain process training materials and deliver training to CDL stakeholders to ensure clarity and compliance
  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting
  • Maintain dashboards of performance metrics and provide monthly updates to leadership.
  • Track and report on document and data quality, implementation timelines, and stakeholder engagement outcomes

Continuous Improvement & Compliance

  • Sustain and refine processes within the CDL Governance Framework and SAP Master Data standards.
  • Log and investigate issues to ensure root cause analysis and appropriate closure.
  • Support regulatory compliance through accurate documentation and data integrity

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business or in a related field
  • Minimum 4+ of experience in Master Data Management, Document Controlor related experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Ability and commitment to work effectively in a highly collaborative team environment, including supporting other peers
  • Ability to prioritize and effectively manage numerous complex assignments and process several simultaneously
  • Proficient to Advanced computer skills; MS Excel intermediate or better skills are a must

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of TC Energy field operating facilities equipment, SAP Plant Maintenance module, and related maintenance best practices within industry
