Staffmark is hiring experienced and safety-conscious Forklift Operators in Joliet, IL. In this role, you'll play a key part in warehouse operations by efficiently handling materials, supporting production lines, and ensuring accurate inventory management using stand-up forklifts and reach trucks.

Pay: $20.50 - $21.50/hour

Shifts Available:



  • 1st Shift: Monday - Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
  • 2nd Shift: Monday - Friday | 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM



Responsibilities:



  • Operate stand-up forklifts and reach trucks to move materials throughout the facility
  • Load/unload trucks and racks as needed
  • Transport raw materials, finished goods, and packaging supplies safely and efficiently
  • Perform inventory tracking and scanning tasks
  • Conduct routine equipment checks and report any issues
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
  • Follow all safety protocols and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
  • Assist warehouse and production teams as needed



What We're Looking For:



  • Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
  • Experience operating stand-up forklifts and reach trucks preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate equipment for extended periods
  • Comfortable working in varying temperatures and warehouse noise levels
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
  • Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience is a plus
