*Job Title:* Quality/Validation Engineer
*Location:* San Diego, CA (hybrid) *Overview:* We're seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Quality/Validation Engineer to lead Test Method Validation (TMV) and Measurement System Analysis (MSA) efforts across the product lifecycle. This role is essential in ensuring the reliability and compliance of testing processes, driving continuous improvement, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products in a regulated industry. *Key Responsibilities:* * Develop and validate test methods aligned with internal and external standards. * Lead TMV activities including protocol development, execution, and reporting. * Conduct MSA including Gage R&R studies to assess and improve measurement reliability. * Collaborate with R&D, Quality, and Manufacturing teams to ensure test methods meet product and business requirements. * Analyze data using statistical tools to evaluate method performance and identify improvement opportunities. * Author and maintain validation documentation including protocols, reports, and risk assessments. * Support off-shift and overtime work as needed based on equipment availability. *What You Bring:* * Strong problem-solving skills in validating both destructive and non-destructive test methods. * Experience with vision-based metrology equipment. * Preventative mindset with the ability to anticipate potential issues. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Flexibility to occasionally work 2nd shift. * Proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., JMP, Minitab). * Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Smartsheet). *Preferred Qualifications:* * Experience in regulated industries such as medical devices, aerospace, or automotive. * Experience with ISO, FDA, or other compliance frameworks. * Proven success leading cross-functional validation initiatives. *Why Join Us?* Be part of a team that values innovation, precision, and collaboration. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
