Job Description The Loan Review Specialist is responsible for conducting pre-purchase reviews of Conventional, Non-Conforming, FHA, and VA loan files. This role ensures that each file contains the required documentation and complies with underwriting, fraud, and compliance standards. Key Responsibilities * Conduct thorough pre-purchase reviews of Conventional, Non-Conforming, FHA, and VA loan files * Ensure documentation meets underwriting and compliance standards (DU, LQA, Fraud, and Regulatory Guidelines) * Accurately review loan documentation and collateral files * Analyze client-provided documentation and promptly address outstanding stipulations Required Skills * Loan documentation * Residential mortgage processing * Underwriting fundamentals * Income verification and appraisal review * AUS (Automated Underwriting Systems) familiarity Preferred Qualifications * Bachelor's degree preferred * 1-3 years of residential mortgage experience * Experience with income, asset, and appraisal documentation * Experience in loan processing or mortgage file analysis * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite * Strong organizational skills to manage a pipeline across various loan stages * Deep understanding of loan documentation, policies, and mortgage lending procedures Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $27.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
