Lead Installation Technician - North Port, FL Worksite Location: 5801 Benjamin Center Drive, Tampa, FL 33634 Category: Systems Support Specialist Also Known As: Lead Installation Technician, Security Installation Technician, Install Technician, Technician Assistant Be the Go-To Expert in North Port's Expanding Security Market Security 101 is actively seeking a Lead Installation Technician to take charge of high-impact security system installations in the North Port, Venice, Punta Gorda, and Fort Myers areas. This is a backfill role for a valued team member who relocated, and we're looking for someone ready to step in and lead with confidence. What You'll Be Doing * Lead and supervise installation teams on enterprise security projects. * Install, terminate, configure, and test systems including: * Access Control * * CCTV & IP Cameras * Intrusion Systems * Video Analytics * Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. * Provide remote diagnostics and customer support. * Ensure quality control, project tracking, and customer satisfaction. * Work independently and manage job sites with minimal supervision. Must-Have Skills * 3+ years of experience installing and programming commercial access control, IP video, and intrusion systems. * 3+ years of experience as a project lead or supervisor. * Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills. * Proficiency with IP networks and remote troubleshooting. * Ability to work independently and lead a team. Nice-to-Haves * Experience with service, electrical systems, and troubleshooting. * Certifications or proficiency in: * Access Control: Pro-Watch, Genetec, Software House, Lenel/S2, OpenPath * * Video Systems: Axis, Exacq, Milestone, MaxPro, Genetec, Victor, Avigilon, Hanwha * Intrusion Systems: Vista, DSC, Bosch, DMP * Locking Hardware: ASSA ABLOY, Von Duprin, Adams Rite Don't have all the certifications?
