We are currently seeking a full-time, temporary, Maintenance Electrician for our Ketema facility located in El Cajon, CA.

What Does the Job Involve?

Oversees and performs, a variety of duties to maintain, repair and install company electrical equipment. Performs needs analysis, purchasing specification, installation, removal, repair and periodic maintenance of plant and equipment electrical systems, including lighting, motors, heating equipment systems.

What will my responsibilities include?



  • Repairs, installs, replaces, and tests electrical circuits, equipment and appliances using appropriate tools and testing instruments.
  • Isolates defects in wiring, switches, motors, and other electrical equipment using testing instruments such as ammeter, ohmmeter, voltmeter, testing lamp or growler.
  • Installs and maintains various types of motors, welding equipment, lighting fixtures, generators, circuit breakers and transformers.
  • Installs and monitors performance of installed electrical equipment for hazards, adjustments, or replacement.
  • Mounts motors, transformers and lighting fixtures into position and completes circuits according to diagram specifications.
  • Demonstrates ability to appear for work on time, works overtime, when necessary, follows directions from a supervisor, interacts well with co-workers, understands, and follows work rules and procedures, works safely, complies with corporate policies, goals, and objectives, accepts constructive feedback, establishes goals and objectives, and exhibits initiative and commitment.
  • Inspects and tests electrical lighting, signal, communication, and power circuits.
  • Ensures that safety procedures are observed.
  • Inspects completed work and ensures that work conforms with requirements of local building and safety codes.


What Key Skills and Experience Do I Need?



  • Forklift Certification preferred
  • Diagnostic equipment
  • Experience bending and rounding metal


What Qualifications Should I Have?

Education:



  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Electrical Certification


Experience:



  • 2 years of electrical experience
