Senior Project Manager - JLL What this job involves:

As a Senior Project Manager at JLL, you will be directly responsible for leading and delivering challenging projects, with your strong knowledge of construction projects from start to finish speaking to your ability to push the business forward through innovative and industry changing ideas. You will contribute to the development of project budgeting and scheduling and overseeing the strategy and execution through completion of construction while being focused on the client experience by providing innovative solutions to conflicting priorities. This role involves managing and overseeing all aspects of projects, including programming, design, schedule, entitlements, bidding, permitting, execution and close out while being efficient at reading construction plans and finding potential areas of concern or hidden costs prior to GC contract execution.

What your day-to-day will look like:
  • Manage and oversee all aspects of projects including programming, design, schedule, entitlements, bidding, permitting, execution and close out
  • Prepare weekly detailed review of project updates, identifying and communicating risks early while providing solutions to meet client-driven schedule and budget
  • Provide management and daily leadership for JLL project team
  • Serve as primary daily point of contact to client, contractors, and consultants at project level
  • Create and execute project execution plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
  • Manage all facets of project management (budget, schedule, procurement, quality & risk) for individual real estate projects
  • Identify project delivery resources from pre-qualified lists or through individual project qualification process
  • Implement communication plan for meetings and written reports/meeting minutes to keep client and project resources informed
  • Implement change management routines to assess change requests, make recommendations, secure client approvals, and issue change orders
  • Support manager in forecasting revenue, profitability, margins, bill rates and utilization
Required Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of relevant experience related to project or construction management
  • Must be highly articulate with clear and analytical approach to problem solving and strong decision making abilities
  • Must have excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Must possess thorough understanding of Project Management, Building Design & Construction, Scheduling, Building Cost Modeling and Risk Analysis
  • Must thoroughly understand and utilize Information Technology including Internet, Microsoft Windows OS, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project
  • Ability to read construction plans and identify potential areas of concern or hidden costs
  • Experience with project budgeting, scheduling, and execution oversight
  • Leadership experience in managing project teams and stakeholder relationships
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or Quantity Surveying
  • Office, Healthcare, Lab, Manufacturing and Life Sciences/Pharma construction project management experience
  • Experience with change management routines and change order processes
  • Knowledge of project documentation governance and data integrity requirements
  • Understanding of revenue recognition, invoicing, and project receivables management
  • Experience with consultant invoice management and project billing processes
  • Knowledge of project accounting forecasts and financial reporting
  • Experience with risk analysis and project legal document execution
  • Advanced understanding of project delivery methodologies and best practices

    Estimated total compensation for this position:

    120,000.00 - 140,000.00 USD per year

    The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
