Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Summary:

Inspects machines, equipment and their subsequent subassemblies following layouts, electrical circuits and other written and verbal specifications for quality and compliance. May also inspect commercials parts and components.

Essential/Key Functions:

• Have extensive knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic machine requirements
• Have extensive knowledge of UL standards and how they apply to machines.
• Schedule and audit UL machine inspections
• Conducts final machine audits/inspections
• Must have working knowledge of E-1 (JD Edwards)
• Working knowledge of Excel and Word
• Complete and Maintain quality charts/records for management
• Have extensive knowledge of OSS and option requirements
• Working knowledge of ANSI IMM safety requirements
• Working knowledge of OSHA machine safety signs
• Develop machine inspection procedures for new products and controls
• Develop and maintain machine shipping/rigging packets for field installations
• Be a member of the Internal ISO Auditor Team and complete 2 to 3 audits per year
• Communicates directly with team members (engineering, runoff, assembly) to resolve quality issues
• Work primarily independently
• Train employees and customers

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical documents, writing technical reports and procedures. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customer
