CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking a Project Manager - Water/Wastewater to join our Commercial & Institutional - CES Team at our Winter Springs, FL office.

The CHA cost estimating team delivers high-quality, accurate cost consulting services to owners, architects, and construction managers at any stage from conceptual design through construction documents. With expertise in architectural, structural, civil, mechanical, and electrical estimating, we identify the implications of design and construction decisions and bring cost certainty to the project. Our estimates are accurate, prompt, and comprehensive, based on information from a nationwide network of contacts and careful analysis.

At CHA, the Project Manager is responsible for the overall management and oversight of capital projects within the group and works diligently to complete projects within the scope, budget, and schedule. This key role is responsible for managing the overall client relationship including any technical, financial, or logistical issues that may arise, as well as selling and developing work with specific clients. Our Project Managers are skilled collaborators who are experts at problem solving and adapting and staying calm under pressure.

The Project Manager coordinates contracts with the client, subcontractors, purchase orders, daily correspondence, and all other project related documents. The professional in this role assists clients in identifying and hiring project employees. This individual is responsible for all project financials, managing subcontractor payments, and communicating updates to the client, management, and project team during monthly project review meetings with operations.

Additionally, the Project Manager develops a specific health and safety plan in coordination with health and safety manager and is responsible for monitoring QA/QC compliance as determined by Quality Management Plan.

Bachelor's Degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, science, planning, engineering management or a related degree is required; or equivalent combination of experience and licensure
• A minimum of 7 years of industry experience required; a minimum of 4 years of project management experience required
• Expert knowledge of project engineering and/or general construction principles and construction schedule
• Demonstrated experience in managing client relationships
• Experience preparing proposals, project plans, extra work authorizations and project closeout documents for projects required
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite required
• Experience understanding and interpreting client contract requirements
• Ability to track and oversee multiple projects required
• Experience utilizing problem-solving skills, exercising discretion, and making independent judgments required
• Experience managing project accounting processes to include project budgeting, forecasts and cash management required
• An articulate and persuasive communicator with excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to adapt communication style to suit various audiences
• Expert problem solver with excellent conflict resolution and negotiation skills
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills required
• Ability to work in a team environment with a primary focus on collaboration
• Ability to travel as needed required
• Knowledge of MS Project and/or Primavera P6 preferred
• Knowledge of Deltek Vision preferred
• Consulting industry experience highly preferred
• Strong ability to resolve matters timely and lead initiatives/projects to completion with a sense of urgency
• Ability to inspire, motivate, build and manage relationships and influence decisions from the top down and bottom up
• Professional licensure preferred

$116,000 - $139,500

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
