Position Summary
Reporting to the Revenue Cycle Manager and/or Supervisor; the Revenue Cycle Coordinator will be responsible for the billing and collection of self-pay accounts receivables, including uninsured and balances after insurance payments, as well as supporting management in the overall execution of Revenue Cycle collection duties. Critical to this position is evaluating and securing financial resources for patients to maximize reimbursement to the Health System. The Revenue Cycle Coordinator must demonstrate proficiency in the procurement of resources, with some knowledge of the billing and collections process/practices of other third-party payers and collection practices and must demonstrates proficiency in resolving customer service issues. Also, this position must be familiar with each institution's computer environment and payer contracts as needed in order to resolve patient balances. The Revenue Cycle Coordinator works as team member and positively accepts change throughout the Health System while establishing relationships at all facilities. The incumbent must maintain a professional, courteous, and cooperative demeanor in all communications and interactions with all individuals and organizations with whom they come into contact while acting in the capacity of a Health System employee. LOCATION: REMOTE HOURS: Days/ 40 hours REQUIREMENTS: EDUCAITON: High Scool Diploma or equivalent WORK EXPERIENCE: 1-2 years' experience in hospital accounts receivable. Knowledge:

Salary Range: Minimum 18.59/hour - Maximum 30.69/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
